Abstract

Globalization that requires efficiency and productivity in all aspects results variousconsequences, including demand to finish any work in a very limited time. It emerges several effects,whether individually or in teamwork. If this condition is not managed properly, it may turn upwork stress. Of course, it can be fatal and therefore, proper management of working load is neededto minimize that condition.

Abstract

At the moment customer satisfaction represent norm obliged to given by every organization.Besides, research proves that satisfaction unable to guarantee the happening of customer loyalty.Delight believed by practitioner and academician as construct, which can guarantee customerloyalty. Unhappily, till now research for searching the domain of delight still very rare. Thisresearch tries to search that domain with qualitative technique. Results of focus group yield fivevariables becoming delight domain that are: justice, esteem, security, trust, and variety.

Abstract

The basic aim of this research is to examine the relationship conflicts with teams creativityand team members satisfaction, also the conflict management behavior (contending, collaborating,and avoiding) which take place in 77 teams of 14 Event Organizer in Jogjakarta. In analyzingthe data, researcher used regression and hierarchical regression method. The result indicates there are relationships between conflicts with creativity and teammembers’ satisfaction. Conflicts do not have any negative effect to the creativity. This research findsthe conflict’s positive effect to the creativity, also with the conflict management although it is notmoderating the relationship between conflict and creativity likewise the members’ satisfaction aboutthe team; collaborating conflict management has not a positive influence to the members’ satisfactionabout the team. The reason is every member of the team wants way and solutions, which they allagree. The findings obtained in this research are expected could be used as a supplement reference forteams, especially the teams in Event Organizer to solve conflicts so the teams remain creative andon the other hand the members feel satisfy about their team.

Abstract

This research is aimed to respond that competition in industries is not only the emulationamong company but absolutely supply chain. It is expected to give some benefits information forsome companies to decide the most effective integration method to serve the suppliers andcustomers. By having the best approach of the supplier and customer facing, the company isexpected to be more competitive and to have better performance and competence. This study isdesigned deeply to describe the patterns of the supply chain integration (direction and degree) onthe company and to know the influence of the implementation of the supply chain integration onthe company performance. The population of this research is taken from the services industries inSurakarta by a purposive sampling. The data will be analyzed with descriptive analysis andMann-Whitney test. They are found that the companies have tree major supply chain integrationpatterns such as inward, consumer and periphery facing. The result also shows the significanteffect of supply chain integration on the company performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the significant influence of women’s style on the demand ofcosmetic consumption in Surakarta. The frequency of cosmetic consumption in terms of its kindsand price significantly influences the demand of cosmetic consumption, Thus, it was confirmed. Inpartial (r), the price of cosmetics is the most dominant variable in determining the demand ofcosmetics. Every a 1 % price increase could raise the cosmetic consumption of 0.891 (inferiorgoods), but it’s kind could raise the cosmetic consumption of 0.753, and its frequency could raisethe cosmetic consumption of 0.188. Through autocorrelation, multicollinearity, andheteroscedasticity test, the result of this study showed that there was no real difference. Theinfluencing model of frequency of cosmetic consumption in terms of its kind and price on thedemand of cosmetic in double regression equation could be used the significant influence ifindependent variables on its dependent.

Abstract

The PDAM (municipal waterworks) of Semarang city has a long history in giving services toits customers. However, we still have to pay attention to its work performance. This research isconducted to reveal any factors that affecting the performance of the company so that it can complythe working standard determined by the Regulation of Internal Affair Minister No. 47, 1999.The population of the research is the workers of Semarang PDAM with 162 people on structuraland functional jobs as the sample. The result of the data analysis shows that the research models fit well and the entire researchhypothesis can be proven.

Abstract

The influence of budgetary participation to managerial performance has been examined inseveral accounting studies with conflicting result. The conflicting evidence may reflect the influence ofother variables. This study examined the influence of budgetary participation to managerialperformance through goal commitment as intervening variable. The population of this study is managers at hospital type A, B, and C in central java andDIY. The sample of this research is collected with contact person and mail survey method. Fromabout of 400 questionnaires delivered, only 72 questionnaires returned and ready to analyze. Thetechnique for examining hypothesis is path analysis. The result of this study showed that budgetary participation has positive effect to managerialperformance. Other result that is shown in this study is that budgetary participation has positiveeffect to goal commitment, goal commitment has positive effect to managerial performance, andbudgetary participation has positive effect to managerial performance through goal commitment asintervening variable.
